This time of year is such a whirlwind of activity, and I have discovered I’m not very good at documenting all the activities, events, and interesting moments. This week has been fun and busy! Sadie is loving putting a new sticker on her tree every day, as well as a fun activity to go with it.

Our activity on Friday wasn’t planned, but we ended up needing to move the sheep to another field and that ended up being our family activity. Sadie loved going out with us and it was quite the adventure getting the sheep to leave the field they were in and find the new one they were supposed to be in. In the end they figured it out and we got them moved.

We also went to the pet shop and looked at all the fun critters there. Sadie liked the lizards best- but I think we’ll stick with fish for pets.

Sadie and I had a little tea party, which didn’t get documented with pictures, but was still a lot of fun. And we made banana splits one evening. Sadie likes putting the toppings on more than actually eating it, but was still fun and tasty.

Sometimes it’s hard for me not to feel like I have to clean instead of doing things like having a tea party with Sadie, or try and get everything on my agenda finished. I’m not sure if she’ll remember doing any of these things, but if nothing else I hope she remembers the feelings of love as we set aside time to do what’s most important in life: spend time with those we love!
